Our next community awareness and fundraiser projects through The Southern Rambler will be to help our neighbors. Our first event is A Ramblin’ Night at Callaghan’s with Ryan Balthrop and Friends and The Deluxe Trio on Tuesday, November 10. Admission is $10 or $5 and a coat or blanket. The money, coats, and blankets will be given to 15 Place, a day shelter that provides services for the homeless.
If you can’t make it to A Ramblin’ Night at Callaghan’s, you can drop coats and blankets off at 15 Place at 279-B N. Washington Ave.
This started with our story about Vincent Lawson’s “Our Neighbors” photography exhibit of the homeless in Mobile and we want to work with Vincent to help our neighbors.
