  1. Yoga, meditation and other activities at Spirit Lake.

Spirit of Suwanee is HUGE, so unless you brought your own dang golf cart, you will be doing A LOT of walking… and when you dance all night on top of walking (and let’s be real, more dancing) all day, your body needs to be healed. Heal your mind, body, and soul in the magical ambiance of Spirit Lake.

  1. Hula Incident 2018 Celebrating Women of the Galaxy

Every Hula has a different theme which leads to the Hula Incident when The String Cheese Incide

Jennifer Hartswick

nt takes the theme and smashes it into their set. It was JUST ANNOUNCED (this week)  that during this year’s Hula Incident on Saturday, String Cheese will be joined by incredible special guests Ann Wilson, Lisa Fischer, Jennifer Hartswick, Rhonda Thomas & more!

These remarkable Women of the Galaxy will be performing classic songs, some written, produced or performed by women. Put on your most out-of-this-world costume and get ready to jam!

  1. Take a piece of Hula home with you.

Between sets, make sure you hit up the Merch tent to snag a shirt or poster from your favorite artists, or one of the exclusive posters, pins, apparel and more created just for Hula. I always suggest going the first day to ensure you get what you want! A sneak peek of this year’s lineup posters were posted on Facebook. Also, make time to explore and shop the artisan booths that will be there and discover some of the most beautiful and unique handcrafted art and jewelry you’ve ever seen.

  1. Don’t miss The Revivalists

The Revivalists

The Revivalists are known to always have a little something up their sleeves come Halloween. Halloween is all about dressing up and pretending to be something, or someone different and I promise you they are doing more than just pretending. They’ve covered the spectrum from Prince to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Michael Jackson to The Who. And speaking of who… who will they cover this year? The last time they were at Hula, they performed a midnight set on the magical Spirit Lake stage and if I may be so bold to say, gave Trent Reznor a run for his money by covering Nine Inch Nails- check out their full Hula 2016 set HERE.

  1. STS9 Bubble Party

    Wanee 2016

The Alchemist Collective Festival Family is at it again! They’ve brought the bubbles to Okeechobee, Bonnaroo and now Hula! Pack all of the bubbles and bubble devices you can find and get ready to fill the sky during STS9’s sets on Thursday’s pre-party. Sound Tribe is on board with this, so let’s give them ALL THE BUBBLES. For more details, check out the official Facebook event HERE.

  1. Frick Frack Blackjack

Join the “freakshow gypsy circus casino” as they call it over in Spirit Lake. You don’t need money to play games like blackjack, dice games, plinko slots, a dare wheel, a sportsbook lounge, and other shenanigans aplenty, just something interesting to barter. They are open every day at 3 until 8 pm and then again from Midnight to late. Remember, your money is no good there. PLACE YOUR BETS and follow them on Instagram at @frickfrackblackjack

  1. Camaraderie

This experience is the MOST important. Take time to meet and get to know your camp neighbors, make new friends, fall in love, be kind and most importantly help each other. The beauty of festivals is that while you are surrounded by 20,000 completely different people, you were all brought together for the same reason. Stay hydrated and let’s make this the BEST HULA YET!
